Powder is a multi-season alpine destination that fuses outdoor art, recreation, and meaningful connection.
In a world of increasingly crowded, mass on-mountain experiences, we are an independent alternative dedicated to natural beauty, uncrowded slopes, limitless discovery, and creative spirt.
A Storied Legacy
Powder is more than a mountain. Fully independent, uncrowded, and seemingly endless, Powder Mountain sits on some of North America’s most pristine ski and snowboard terrain an hour north of Salt Lake International Airport.

Our Values

Big Hearted
We embrace every moment with passion, warmth, and generosity, fostering joy in all we do while caring deeply for our community, our team, and the world around us.

Champions
We strive for excellence through tenacity and teamwork, always push boundaries, seek feedback, and refuse to settle for mediocrity.

Pick Up The Trash
We take initiative to solve problems selflessly, do what's right even when unseen, and always find resourceful solutions for the good of Powder.
Powder is an independent alternative to the movement, a blended public private resort experience, by offering dedicated access to private lifts and opening thousands of acres of pristine skiable terrain to homeowners.
A world-class site specific art collection, intentionally designed residential community, and stewardship of wild open spaces lends a distinct sense of place and community at Powder, unlike anywhere else.
Meet Our Team

In 2018, Reed Hastings was introduced to, fell in love with, and bought a home at Powder Mountain.
As the co-founder and former CEO of Netflix, Reed was no stranger to innovation and revolutionary problem solving.
When he learned of the mountain’s financial distress, he saw an opportunity to at once preserve the charm he cherished, course correct operations, and create an entirely new category of ski experience, changing the way recreation, real estate, and culture converged.
